Bali Daytour Uluwatu

Bali Daytour Uluwatu: The daytour is a great way to explore Uluwatu and surroundings. During this tour we will see the highlights below.

Waterblows corals
You can also take the most beautiful pictures at this place. The dark cliffs, the clear blue sea water and the white foam make a super beautiful photo location. You have to watch out for the waves, you can get so wet if you are not careful. This place is not suitable for a nice dip in the sea. You are on a cliff above the sea and there is hardly any beach below you. Due to the rough waves and the high cliffs, it is not really a suitable place to take a bath.

GWK cultural park
The Garuda Visnu Kencana statue is located in Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park and was designed by Nyoman Nuarta and inaugurated in September 2018. The statue stands on a large pedestal and is designed after the Honduran history of Garuda’s quest for the elixir of life (Amrita). It is the tallest statue in Bali and can be seen from many locations. The monument is still quite young and was inaugurated in September 2018 by the mayor of Indonesia (Joko Widodo).

Padang-padang beach
Padang-padang beach is a popular surfing and beach destination located on the Indonesian island of Bali. It is located in the southwestern part of Bali, in the village of Pecatu, and is known for its long, right-hand wave that breaks over a reef.

Uluwatu temple
Luhur Uluwatu Temple is an iconic temple located on a cliff by the sea. The temple is located in the extreme southern corner of Uluwatu in Bali. The Balinese Hindu community considers this temple a gateway to heaven, making the temple one of the most important on the island. The forces of the Hindu trinity (Brahma, Vishnu and Siva) merge at the temple and therefore it is a place of worship of Siva Rudra, the Balinese Hindu deity of all aspects of life in our universe.

Balinese Dance Kecak + Sunset
The Kecak Dance in Uluwatu is an impressive traditional Balinese dance. The dance is performed at Uluwatu Temple during sunset. A spectacular dance not to be missed with the most magical views. The dance tells the dramatic story of Ramayana and is about Sita’s abduction by Ravana and her eventual reunion with Rama.

Dinner sea side view Jimbaran
Jimbaran Beach is a secluded beach with beautiful sunsets. Due to its remote location, it is a relatively quiet beach. For the locals, Jimbaran beach is a well-known place for fishing. From the beach you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Indian Ocean and the beautiful colored boats that float off the coast. Because Jimbaran beach is a well-known fishing spot, you can enjoy the fresh catch in the wonderful restaurants / warungs in the area.

Bali Daytour Uluwatu

Welcome to your exciting Bali daytour to Uluwatu! As your local driver, I am thrilled to guide you through this remarkable journey where breathtaking scenery, cultural richness, and unforgettable experiences await. Our day will begin with a scenic drive that takes us through lush landscapes and charming villages, offering a glimpse into the vibrant life of Bali as we make our way to our first stop: Waterblows Corals.

Waterblows Corals

Arriving at Waterblows, you’ll be greeted by dramatic cliffs that plunge into the cerulean waters of the Indian Ocean. This spectacular location is renowned for its breathtaking views and the dramatic interplay of water and rock. As the waves crash against the cliffs, they send sprays of water soaring into the air, creating a mesmerizing display that is perfect for photography. I recommend you take your time here, capturing the stunning contrast of the dark, jagged cliffs against the bright blue sea and the frothy white surf. However, please be cautious; the waves can be unpredictable, and getting too close may leave you drenched! Remember, this area is not suitable for swimming due to the lack of a beach and the powerful waves below. Instead, soak in the natural beauty and enjoy the fresh ocean breeze as we prepare for our next destination.

GWK Cultural Park

Next, we’ll head to the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, a site that embodies the artistic and spiritual essence of Bali. Upon arrival, you will be awestruck by the towering Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue, designed by renowned Balinese artist Nyoman Nuarta. Standing at an impressive height, this statue symbolizes the Hindu god Vishnu riding the mythical bird Garuda. Completed in September 2018, the statue is not only the tallest in Bali but also an iconic representation of Balinese culture and mythology. As we stroll through the park, take a moment to appreciate the intricate carvings and sculptures that narrate the stories of Hindu mythology. The park also hosts cultural performances and exhibitions, providing a deeper understanding of Balinese traditions.

After exploring the cultural park, we’ll stop for lunch at Mak Jo Restaurant, where you can savor a delicious meal featuring local Balinese cuisine. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including fresh seafood and traditional Balinese flavors. Enjoy your meal in a relaxed setting, with views that reflect the natural beauty of the island.

Padang-Padang Beach

Post-lunch, we’ll head to Padang-Padang Beach, a hidden gem known for its stunning shoreline and world-class surfing waves. Nestled in the village of Pecatu, this beach is famous for its picturesque views and vibrant atmosphere. As we walk down the steps leading to the beach, you’ll be greeted by golden sands framed by rugged cliffs and azure waters. This spot is perfect for sunbathing or simply enjoying the scenic beauty around you. If you’re an avid surfer, you might want to catch some waves here, as Padang-Padang is known for its long right-hand breaks that appeal to surfers of all levels. Don’t forget to explore the unique rock formations and perhaps dip your toes in the water, but do keep an eye on the surf conditions.

Uluwatu Temple

From Padang-Padang, our next stop is the iconic Uluwatu Temple, or Pura Luhur Uluwatu, perched majestically on a cliff overlooking the ocean. This temple is one of the six key temples in Bali, serving as a spiritual gateway and a significant site for Balinese Hindus. As we walk through the temple grounds, take in the stunning views of the ocean below and the vibrant colors of the surrounding flora. The temple is dedicated to the guardian spirits of the sea and is a place of worship for the Balinese community. The architecture here is stunning, with intricate carvings and statues that tell stories of the island’s rich cultural heritage.

Make sure to keep an eye out for the monkeys that inhabit the area; they are known for being playful and sometimes a bit mischievous! After exploring the temple, we will settle down for the evening performance of the Kecak Dance, set against the backdrop of a breathtaking sunset. This traditional dance tells the epic story of the Ramayana, showcasing the emotional narrative of Sita’s abduction by Ravana and her reunion with Rama. As the sun dips below the horizon, the dance becomes even more captivating, creating a magical experience you won’t soon forget.

Dinner by the Sea at Jimbaran

Our day will conclude with a delightful dinner at Jimbaran Beach. Known for its serene atmosphere and stunning sunsets, Jimbaran offers a perfect setting to unwind after a day of exploration. The beach is lined with seafood restaurants where you can choose from a variety of fresh catches, cooked to perfection. As you dine with your feet in the sand, you’ll be treated to a beautiful view of the Indian Ocean, especially as the sky transforms into hues of orange and pink at dusk. This is a wonderful time to reflect on your day, savoring both the delicious food and the tranquil ambiance.

As we wrap up this incredible daytour, I hope you have captured not only beautiful photographs but also unforgettable memories of Uluwatu and its surroundings. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I look forward to exploring more of Bali with you in the future!
